Does iPad 9th gen support tap to wake or raise to wake?

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. Currently the raise to wake feature is only available on the iPhone. This resource explains more: Use Raise to Wake on your iPhone - Apple Support

The only methods that are available to wake your iPad can be found here: Wake and unlock iPad - Apple Support

iPad turns off the display to save power, locks for security, and goes to sleep when you’re not using it. You can quickly wake and unlock iPad when you want to use it again.

Wake iPad

To wake iPad, do one of the following:

-Press the top button.

-Tap the screen (supported models).
