Printing from a gen 6 ipad

I have a new printer which accepts AirPrint. When I try to print an attachment from my email, I press share but then there is no option to print. What am I doin wrong?

Just to be sure that we’re on the same page…


While viewing the email that includes an attached document (e.g., a PDF file), touch-and-hold the attachment; a preview window will appear - along with an action menu.


From the action menu, tap Share; the Share-sheet will appear - which should include Print.
