Why is block sender missing from Mail in Mojave 10.14.6 -- the sequel

I have the same issue that was reported by Bferg23 in a thread that's now closed (and I therefore cannot post in): Why is block sender missing from Mail in … - Apple Community

I have an imac, and I, too, am running Mojave 10.14.6 and Mail Version 12.4 (3445.104.21). Block Sender is missing from Mail.

Bferg23 got advice (much appreciated) from Old Toad to boot into safe mode and see if the issue was still present.

I booted into safe mode, and the issue is still present.

I am not running any third-party (or first-party!) apps that could be causing issues in Mail.

I'm wondering if there's any more advice on this, short of reinstalling the OS (which I don't want to do).

Thanks for any thoughts anybody might have about this.

I didn't realize you could edit Mail rules to block incoming emails from specific addresses. WOOHOO!!!!!!!! Thank you!!!!!

It simply was not feature of the OS until Catalina 10.15 & later. :)

Thank you for that answer. It's strange, because the person who started the other thread on this said, "On my other, older Macbook Pro, the mail program is at version 13.4 and has the block sender and mute features."

It seems he was saying his older Macbook Pro was running an OS earlier than Mojave, but that, on that Macbook Pro, he had a Mail app that was later than the version available on Mojave. Oh well. Maybe he was running something later than Mojave on his old Macbook Pro.

Anyway, thanks again. And if you know of any way to block incoming emails from individuals in 10.14.6, I would love to hear it!
