When did you buy the watch? If within the last 14 days, when you purchase a watch and band from Apple, they are considered one item. If you are still within the return window, you can return the watch and band (must be in the original packaging with all accessories) for full refund, then purchase the watch/band combination which will be better for you.
If you are past the 14 day return, you'll need to just purchase a band which will fit.
