Sim locked iphone xr

iPhone XR is sim locked but we don't know what original carrier to contact. Already ran blacklist check on the IMEI and it hasn't been blacklisted and didn't really want to have to pay to find original carrier. Please help.

Some options.....assuming the phone is operable.

Tap Settings

Tap Cellular

Look in the area just above Wi-Fi Calling

The carrier name is usually displayed there

Tap Settings

Tap General

Tap About

Scroll down to find Network and Carrier

The carrier name is usually displayed there
