How to manually verify Windows 10 iTunes Backup?

Is it possible to manually verify Windows 10 backup ?

I didn’t know my backup was corrupted until my SMSexport App Developer told me.

Since iCloud doesn’t backup all data like Computer backup , and I don’t often backup, how to manually verify my backup?

Not able to restore from Computer Backup resulted in days if not months to restore my iPhone data. One Example is iCloud backup hadn’t restored my Keyboard Text Replacement which I spent months building up; I am now still without my Text Replacement and starting to build from scratch. .

iPhone XR, iOS 16

Hey there SunnyInToronto,

While we're unsure of what you're asking regarding how to 'verify' an iTunes backup on your Windows PC, we do have a link that shows how to locate backups: Locate backups of your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

Regarding your question about what an iCloud backup contains, it's a good thing to remember that anything already syncing with iCloud is synced back to a device that you're setting up and/or restoring, regardless of having a backup or not. That being said, this second link shows what an iCloud backup would contain: What does iCloud back up?

Depending upon how much data you're syncing from iCloud, it can take some time when setting up a new device. This is also true of an iTunes backup. Depending on how big the backup is from which you're restoring/setting up a new device, it can take some time to finish restoring from a backup from whichever location you choose.

If you need more help, or after reviewing the details/links above, let us know more details. We'll be ready to assist however we can.

Cheers!
