Macbook Air M1 battery health

I have completed 10 months of lite usage on my MacBook Air M1 and have completed 30 charge cycles. The battery health has dropped to 97%. Given the lite usage, I am a bit concerned if the battery health is degrading slightly faster than it should.

Also as suggested by couple of posts online, I seldomly power-off my MacBook and just close the lid. I use it mostly for watching some movies or browsing the internet. I restart it after around 3-4 weeks.

Would be glad if members can share their views on the above aspects.

Hello! Similar to you I have a MacBook Pro 16” 2021 and I noticed the same the battery health dropped fast. Right now at around 120 cycles and a year and two months of use it is at 94%. I wrote here about that and a person helped me by mentioning that even though the drop, the expected 1000 cycles still remain and if I want to preserve the battery I should keep it plugged when I can while I am using it. I also changed some settings so that while on battery, it doesn’t waste it for unneeded processes.

Have a great day!
