printing pause - no authentication

Hi, I have a problem, no authentication is displayed, the printer freezes and is paused during printing, I know it's about some certificates and lack of availability but how to solve it?

Hey there Koziczini,

That is a strange thing to occur, and we'd like to help however we can. Let's start with ruling out some possible causes, along with confirming more details to better understand what's happening:

  1. You mentioned that the printer pauses itself while printing, but when was the last time it printed from the same Mac without any issues?
  2. Have you been able to test another printer with your Mac, or even the same printer with a different computer?
  3. Have you already made sure that you have the latest drivers for your printer installed on your Mac? You may need to reach out to the printer manufacturer for the steps, along with confirming that the printer is compatible with your Mac.
  4. Sometimes unexpected behavior can be resolved with a restart. Check out the section ‘Restart your Mac' here: Shut down or restart your Mac
  5. If you have a compatible Mac model, the latest version is macOS 13.2. You can verify this by clicking on the Apple logo at the top left corner of the screen, then on ‘About This Mac’. In case you needed it, this link shows how to first back up, then Update macOS on Mac.

Cheers!
