I have not changed any settings, but suddenly my phone changed the format of my phone numbers to +61 , so my phone does not match my contacts in my phone. How do I reset this back to normal . ? Thanks for any help …

This feature is called Dial Assist, and it is used to disambiguate phone numbers from different countries. If 100% of your correspondents are in Australia, you can disable this feature. Open Settings and select ‘Phone’. At the bottom of the next page, turn off Dial Assist.

Thanks for that. Didn’t work for us. I powered the iPhone off , then back on 30 minutes later, all now okay.
