I believe that I can help you with this.

Using your phone, go into Settings (gear icon)

Go into Privacy & Security

Click on "Location Services"

Scroll down to "Apple Watch Faces"

Set it to "While Using the App"

Then...

Go back to the previous screen

Scroll down to "Weather Channel" and click on it.

Set it to "Always" (it might also work if set to "While Using the App", just try it)

Let us know if this got it going for you!

Have an excellent day ;-)

I’m having the same issue and that doesn’t fix it. Other weather apps with complications work when downloaded but weather channel says no weather data even though it is connected to my phone. I already had the settings you described. I also tried rebooting, turning wifi on and off, and removing and re-adding the app. Everything is up to date as far as software. I have the premium pro annual subscription too so I shouldn’t have issues(I would think) but it only works when you open the app. This is annoying because I prefer weather channel please let me know if there’s anything else I can try to fix this. In image: The middle section has weather channel complication and the bottom right is the weather mini app which is literally only set to while using is as you can see works fine

AerinSky,

I just put it onto my watch in order to help troubleshoot it with you.

It doesn't work on my watch either.

Normally we would recommend that the user contacts the 3rd party app developer for problems with an app. I should have said the same thing to the original author of this thread. I figured that it was an issue with location services and I attempted to help the OP with that, but they never did come back to tell us whether or not it fixed it.

So... Yes, it's broken and it doesn't work. The problem isn't related to Apple or any Apple product though.

I went to Weather Channel in the app store and found this review.
