Apple Watch “left behind.”
Is Apple Watch 7 supported for this feature? I’ve left my watch at home and work before but didn’t realize it, and didn’t get a notification to my phone that I’d left it behind.

I’m kind of surprised they didn’t think to include Apple Watch. I might also be one of the few people to forget my watch at work. Still, I think it would be useful to know in the event it is left behind.
Thanks again!

To my knowledge there is no Apple Watch Left Behind setting. There is however, iPhone Left Behind, which can be set up in the Settings App on your iPhone in Find My. And when you enable this on your iPhone and you are wearing your Apple Watch, after you've left your iPhone behind, you do get a notification that you have left your iPhone behind.
You're welcome.
While most of the time we're actually wearing our Apple Watch, I can see times when a message it's been left behind could be of value.
You can let Apple know this is something you'd like to see in a future release, by providing feedback here --> Feedback - Watch - Apple
I clicked on the app link and while it appears to let you know if you've gone away from your iPhone, it doesn't do what the OP is seeking, which is to know if they have gone away from their Apple Watch. Of am I missing something?
Once I strap my Apple Watch to my wrist, it's never taken off until I get home at night and it's time to charge it. I do have an Apple Watch Charger at my desk, so I do software updates at the office when they're released, but that would be the only time it's off my wrist.
I took it off to wash dishes in the staff room at work and left it on the corner then forgot it there all afternoon. Another time, I left it in the washroom at work, left it there, went home then noticed and had to go back and get it. Just this past Friday I left it at home and didn’t notice until I got to work.
As I was typing this… you’re right and I should probably just leave it on my wrist.
I'd get in the habit of simply NOT taking it off your wrist. One of these days, someone less than honest will see your watch and walk off with it. Assuming you have Find My enabled on it and use a passcode, they won't be able to use it. But then daily people come here because they bought a used watch which is activation locked and they want to know how to unlock it. They are victims of having purchased a stolen watch, which they can NEVER use.
Don't let that happen to someone and just keep the watch on your wrist.
I figured as much because I can’t seem to find anything on it. Thanks anyways!
