Upgrade from OS 10.14 Mojave to OS 15 Ventura

I am currently running 10.14.6 Mojave on my 2018 MacBook Pro due to limitations imposed by software I needed for my job. However, new software (hallelujah!) has just been released that will allow me to move into the world of 10.15 and beyond. Should I make the big leap all the way to OS 15 Ventura all at once? Or should I upgrade gradually from 10.14 to 10.15, then to OS 11, etc., all the way to OS 15?

Were I you, I'd upgrade first to Catalina and evaluate the function of my apps. Catalina requires 64-bit software, and you may find that you'll need to update/upgrade some things. Install Catalina, update it to its fullest, then make the move to Ventura.

❗️ Do NOT upgrade until you have made a Time Machine or other backup of your startup drive.
