iPhone updates and storage

When a new iPhone update is installed, does the process automatically delete obsolete files from prior versions?

If not is there a way to free up storage on my phone that’s being used by obsolete information files? Come on help me guys🙂🙃🙂😁

Yes. Of course, if you have personal obsolete files (such as data files from apps that no longer run on the updated iOS version), it’s up to you to remove these.
