Why is the Apple tv+ app asking for an itunes store account when I have an apple id for the family member I want to include in family sharing. The instructions for an itunes store account are not even correct in the music store now.
To have an Apple ID account that is ready for use with the Apple TV+ app, that is the same as ready for the iTunes Store. The Apple ID account should have full users details as requested, a verified email address (respond to test message), and a valid payment method.

Setting up Family Sharing requires that one group member takes on the role of organizer, and invites the other group members, each by their own Apple ID account. The invites should be done from the organizer’s iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, or Mac computer. Once the Family Sharing group members accept, they should have immediate access to the shared subscription(s), each on their own account. The organizer and the subscriber do not have to be the same person.
