Iphone 4 shows wrong Album art when playing music.

Dear,

Since today my Iphone displays the wrong album art when playing songs. The album art belongs to other songs that are on the Iphone. The playlist "Iphone" in Itunes that syncs with the Iphone shows the correct album art in Itunes, but the Iphone displays the wrong album art. I have never had this problem on my Iphone 3G in 2 years, and not until recently on the Iphone 4.

I have no clue why this happens, only in the weekend I subscribed to - and installed- a podcast for the first time. I have never used a podcast before.
I doubt that enabling a podcast has something to do with it, but besides installing some new apps, that was the only change compared to the situation when everything was normal (last Friday).

I've seen some other discussions about this issue, possibly a restore could fix this, but I see that as a last resort..

This link to a solution using iFunBox was a real pain killer for me. I tried a bunch of the other solutions like reinstalling all my music with no success. This one worked without needing to reinstall. iPhone 5 on iOS 6. Thanks!

When you go to sync your music go to

"Selected playlist, artist, albums, genres"

scroll down and select all your albumbs (double check that on itunes you have the right art for each album cover set)

now sync, this worked for my phone hope it works for yours -_-

here is my solution,i don't know why it worked but i think it is already downloaded in your iPhone's database or your itunes database.

delete your music in your iPhone (wrong album artwork only)
open itunes in your PC/Mac
connect your iPhone to your PC/Mac (if itunes auto sync is on, disconnect your PC/Mac internet first before you connect your iPhone in your PC/Mac)
disconnect your PC/Mac internet
sync your iPhone
