Charging question

My new MacBook has been ‘charging’ with a steady amber light for almost 24 hours. Why isn't it fully charged, yet, and showing green?

Have tried rebooting the machine and compare your results...



no resolve try a SafeBoot How to use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support will sort many anomalies.

Login and test, reboot as normal and test.


Still no change—
