Why was the "About this Mac" changed from a 1 click experience to multi-clicks to get to the information you need? Users got to info about storage in one click prior to Ventura. "About this Mac" is now only a window that leads users to the System Settings. If the MacOS team is going to stay with the new convention, there is no reason to keep "About this Mac" on the Apple menu.
No one here in this user-to-user forum would know why Apple made this particular choice. And, Apple doesn't read here for feedback or suggestions. You can, however, let Apple know your thoughts here:

Wishful thinking on your part..
It seems to me it still server as the quickest and basic overview— certainly no extra overhead to have it as is...like it has always been since the beginning of time(?)
