Shortcuts automation - using location, running ssh script - always require intervention?

I keep thinking this is a FAQ, sorry if I haven't been able to find an answer elsewhere...

I have an action that I want to fire when I leave a particular location; I have composed an "automation" for "When I leave..." and "When I arrive..." that runs the ssh script. This all works great.

Except: it requires me to manually run the script. When the automation runs, it alerts on the iOS device lock screen; the ssh script won't actually run unless I tap the alert and then the "run" option. So, if I don't remember to look at the device, the script won't run.

With all due respect to Apple, I don't have my device in hand continuously. I've looked for any options to enable bypassing the alert - there aren't any options either at the level of the automation (i.e., "Enable This Automation" is on), nor in the "Run Script Over SSH" level (I don't see any controls here). The Settings > Shortcuts > Advanced > Allow Running Scripts option is on. I can run the script manually and it works - it's just that it apparently wants to ask me if I'm really sure I want to run it - I am, but if I have to answer the question, it's not really helping.

Any thoughts as to what I'm missing?
