Is the legacy Java SE 6 download a potential problem to an older version of a 2011 iMac running on High Sierra version 10.13?

Is the legacy Java SE 6 download a potential problem to an older version of a 2011 iMac running on High Sierra version 10.13? I want to use an old Adobe Photoshop CS3 disc that I have. After clicking on the Icon in the doc I'm asked to download Java Se 6.

Thank you!
