Why are my AirPods not verified if they are real?????

That message appears when the AirPods are not, in fact, actual Apple AirPods. Where did you purchase your AirPods? Which model are they? Are they used or from a retailer who is not an Apple Authorized retailer? With more information, we may be able to answer your question and suggest how you may proceed.
