Caldigit TS3+ and new Mac Book Pro M2

I have run out of ideas how to get my external monitor working with a new TS3+ Caldigit and a 14" MacBook Pro M2 but acknowledge I am no expert.

The monitor registered no signal when connected via the TS3+, yet when connecting a Dell the monitor works. I have checked accessibility, cables are fine, downloaded Caldigit software.

If I connect the monitor through the laptop directly it works and when connected to the TS3+ the laptop is seeing the monitor, (its registers in "Display") but the monitor registers no signal detected and is blank. Frustrating

Is it that my TS3+ is faulty or have I missed something

Using a TS4 with a 16" MacBook Pro M2 Max and LG 34WK95U-W.

I had to change the monitor settings from DisplayPort 1.4 to DisplayPort 1.2 in order for it to work with the M2 MBP. That wasn't necessary with my previous 2018 mini.

Hope that helps.
