Synching between my devices and someone collaborating with me on a board is fast, but if I insert even a small screenshot it takes a very long time to sync, or simply gets stuck on "loading image". I don't see anywhere I can force sync. I use this function a lot, so appreciate any insights or workarounds

Is this happening on the latest version of macOS Ventura ( 13.2)? The update contains many bug fixes including some for the Freeform app.

yes, all devices have latest updates. In fact, I think this issue became more pronounced going from 13.1 to 13.2. I also changed my screenshot settings to jpg to make the images smaller in size. It made no difference. Did you happen to attempt placing a screenshot in Freeform on your devices? Would like to know....I don't think it's just me. I did notice if I deleted several boards on one device it was a little slow, but within a minute the change did sync to other devices....but still the imbedded screenshots show "loading image" on the other devices.
