Can't receive group messages in imessages on ipad

Your iPad is showing an Apple ID mismatch.

This might happen if your Apple ID was recently changed.

Try signing out of iCloud on your iPad, the sign in again with the same Apple ID you use on your iPhone and Mac.

Sign out of iCloud on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Apple TV, or Mac

Then take the remaining steps to sign in to iCloud and get Messages configured:

Use Messages on your iPhone or iPad

Forward SMS/MMS text messages from your iPhone to your Mac or iPad

Set up iCloud for Messages on all your devices

Are you able to receive individual iMessages successfully? Are you able to send group messages successfully? You'll want to confirm that your settings are correct by going to Settings > Messages. Confirm that iMessage is enabled and that you are signed into your Apple ID. Also, confirm that your phone number is selected under the section titled " Send & Receive".
