Magsafe Duo Charger won’t charge both devices simultaneosly!

I bought the Magsafe Duo Charger for my GF as a gift. She was complaining that it only charges one device at a time. I did everything, I bought the recommended 29W charger with a USBC cable and still the Magsafe Duo Charger won’t charge both devices simultaneously! (iPhone13Pro & iWatch)

I tried all chargers I have at home, plugging it to a Mac computer … nothing works.

Unbelievable!

It’s an overpriced POS that does not work!

I’ve had it. Apple used to be good stuff a long time ago, but now it’s just crap.

DO NOT BUY!

Tons of people… me included. After some time researching this I had to buy a new charger - see photo- even though it is only 20W it works and charges both devices. Apple must have built in something into the device that forces you to buy a new charger.

What I think about that? You guessed it!

Not looking for support but to hear other’s experiences (mods please remove if not allowed). Got my MagSafe Duo charger today, works perfectly well with the 30w charger, but will only charge a single device on 29w even though it should work at full capacity with anything above 27w... Has anyone else experienced issues so far?
