Apple ID email

Hello, Recently I changed my Apple ID email. The day after my FaceTime and iCloud email changed to my new email, but people are still saying I still need to log out and sign back in. So do I need to sign out and back in even tho all of my services are using my new email?

Good question. Apple still refers to this document: What to do after you change your Apple ID or password - Apple Support in its support articles, but the document is labeled "archived" which usually means it's about things that are no longer supported or necessary.
