Affinity Photos Error

Help please!

I was editing a picture in Apple Photos using Affinity Photo 2. I was notified of an update for Affinity while editing and stupidly decided to upgrade while editing the photo. The edit errored out and I appear to have completely broken the integration between Apple Photos and Affinity Photos 2. I now receive an "unexpected error" message whenever I attempt to use Affinity Photos to edit a picture in Photos. I have deleted and reinstalled Affinity Photo 2 but the problem persists. Any help here would be greatly appreciated!

I assume that you are using Photos Edit, clicking the 3 dots, and choosing Affinity, is that right? Have you fiddled with the "Manage" choice?

In Manage you can choose which applications to use as extensions. You could un-check Affinity, and then go search for the new version of the app (probably in the Applications folder.)

If that doesn't work, you probably should contact the Affinity people.
