Google drive issues

Can anyone help? I'm having major problems with my Google Drive account for Mac. Basically it's not streaming any of my files to the virtual folder I have on my Mac, so every time I need to access my files I have to manually download. Can anyone help! It's driving me insane.

I've tried all the basics - disconnecting the account, uninstall and reinstall, folder permissions, turning firewall off, nothing is working!
