My Macbook pro no longer detects my external displays thru the display link

I have a Mac Pro ventura v13.0. I have been using a display link to use 2 external monitors. It worked well until recently. Now it will not detect the monitors thru the display link. I can plug them in directly to the laptop, and they work. Nothing. changed. The display link is working with the other externals so now I am stuck on what to do to make my Mac detect the monitors thru the displaylink
