Reset Network Settings - Not Working

I am on iOS 16.3 on an iPhone XR. All is working, but there are some issues that might be fixed by doing Reset Network Settings. However, when I go through the steps: Settings>General> Transfer or Reset iPhone>Reset>Reset Network Settings; Enter passcode; confirm Reset, nothing happens apart from the screen becoming unresponsive for a short while with the app eventually exiting back to the Home Screen.

I have tried force restarting the phone, but this doesn't help.

For comparison, I did the same thing on my iPad: it immediately rebooted to the apple logo and progress line and had reset the network when it came back up.

Any thoughts please?

Thanks for visiting the Apple Support Communities Arkouda,

Based on what you've described, we would recommend first check if any Screen Time restrictions have been enabled on your device. If so, they may be preventing the reset from completing: Use parental controls on your child's iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support.

After that, we would also encourage you make sure the iPhone has the latest version of iOS installed on it. In addition to new features and security enhancements, updates often include fixes for previously identified iOS issues: Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

Have a wonderful day.
