How to enable DRM on Safari? Disney+ content doesn't play

I can't seem to play any content from Disney+ on my Safari browser as it shows an error. I checked the code of the error, which points to DRM. I usually use Safari rather than chrome, so would appreciate if anyone could guide me to operate it on Safari.

Hi waheed2179,

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities.

We understand that you're not able to play some content. If the message mentions that the content is DRM- protected, this is not something that is Apple-related. This means that the content is copyrighted and controlled by a particular party and can't be accessed or downloaded without their permission. If you happen to have any extensions installed in Safari that could be affecting how content providers see your device, you may want to remove or restrict those using the steps in the "Manage your extensions" section of Get extensions to customize Safari on Mac, which explain the the below information:

  1. Open Safari on your Mac and choose Safari > Settings and click Extensions
  2. To change settings for an extension, select an extension and then select or deselect settings.
  3. To remove an extension select the extension and then click Uninstall or delete the app containing the extension.

Regards.
