iMac late 2012 screen/display flickering

Hi, I have an iMac late 2012 that I´m trying to fix. It works fine in safe mode but the flickering comes back when I restart and log in. I have tried every solution I could find on forums. Resetting NVRAM and PRAM, nothing shows up in log-in items that could be the culprit. I updated to Mojave (I think) or Catalina, I can´t remember while in safe mode, could that have something to do with it? It was flickering before that but it is worse now. I also tried diagnostics but all I got was this:

Error: 8000000000000003, Cannot load 'EFI/Drivers/TestSupport.efi'

Status: 0x00000003

Please can someone help?

That sounds like overheating or failing graphic’s hardware. Sadly the Apple Diagnostics Test, is not really geared up to pin point the issue even when it works. You’re best bet is to schedule an appointment at your local Authorized Apple Service Provider, have it evaluated and then decide to repair or replace the iMac.
