Can't import photos to an external APFS SSD

I've bought a new Macbook , exactly MacBookPro18,3 with Ventura 13.1.

I Had already a Photo lybrary stored on my Mac that work correctly and import photos from my iPhone. I've also bought an external SSD (Crucial X8), formatted in APFS and than copied my library to it.

When i try to import a photo, with the library located in the external SSD, it doesn't work and the up stuck at the first photo:

I've also tried to create a new photos library and import the photo from iphone..but i have the same problem.

I've tried to reboot, reconnect the external SSD and verify any update...

Hi RDLFNC,

You mentioned that your MacBook Pro is running macOS Ventura 13.1, is that right? The latest version of macOS Ventura is currently 13.2. The Photos app does update with the macOS and macOS updates contain many bug fixes that can help your device to function as expected. We'd recommend updating the macOS then attempting to import those photos again to see if this continues to occur.
