Airpods gen 3 case drains battery quickly. HELP

I don’t understand how the first and 2nd gen AirPod case has more battery than this new one. Even without using my aipods for a few days, the case battery percentage drops drastically. The old ones the battery wouldn’t even lose any percentage when just sitting nicely with the pods inside, fully charged, and 2 days later…still at minimum 95%. This new gen…one use of completely draining the pods…after They’re charged the case is down to like 70 percent. That’s insane.
