If a video on your Apple TV doesn't play, or an app becomes unresponsive, the following steps should help:

1: On the Siri Remote, press the TV button   twice quickly.

2: In app-switching view, navigate to a different app in the center of the screen, then do either of the following:

• Force the highlighted app to quit: Swipe up on the clickpad or touch surface.

3: To leave app-switching view without changing apps, press the Back button  (Siri Remote 2nd generation or later) or  button (Siri Remote 1st generation).
