Netflix streaming via Ethernet extremely slow.

Netflix was working fine over Wi-Fi 5G band. I swapped over my latest gen Apple TV to Ethernet as everything I read said this connection was the best, however Netflix has ground to almost stopped. Extremely slow. I have yet to return to WiFi. Only one other app (Viki)experiencing stop start . Also experiencing drop outs?? What’s happening??
