My Mastering Lab from Pearson only doesn't work on Safari.

Hello, I am currently a student at Adelphi University and we are using My Mastering Lab by Pearson for my Human Anatomies class. I bought the access code and been trying to do everything to make it work but it doesn't. I found out that this is only a problem on Safari. I tried it on Google Chrome, and it worked just fine. Does anyone know what the problem might be? When I open the website on Safari, I do see a "pop up blocked" notification, but I am not sure if that is the problem.
