This alert is generated by the BMS board in your iPhone. There are two things that could be causing this notification.
If the battery is actually non-genuine, depending on the quality, it may affect the device's performance, pose a safety risk, or prevent the device from working at all. When getting your battery replaced, be careful to avoid low-quality parts. It's recommended to only have it replaced by Apple or an Apple Authorised Service Provider, as they will provide a genuine battery that will be properly compatible.
