Just like the title says, I’d love to know if there’s some way to turn off the feature that makes a video rewind or jump forward when I swipe across the screen while the video is in fullscreen. I’ve triggered it by accident many times, often while picking up or putting down my phone, and it’s really annoying.

Agree, it's absurd that you can't disable this feature. Not even once it was helpful but I keep forwarding videos by accident all the time, so annoying!
Easy fix was to stop using apple tv!
Swiping the progress bar has always been, there it’s not the same, I have sausages for fingers. When I try to swipe I end up pressing something and things go to well yea

i hated it at first but soon realized it’s more convenient when using one hand and became custom to it. Apple just took it away instead of providing a toggle? Seems stupid.

Not sure why they just don’t offer the feature, which i liked and have an option to disable it for those the don’t use it. These updates are getting annoying
