Safari not rendering icons in most websites including Apple's

Why is Safari not rendering icons in most websites including Apple's?

How do I fix this? What configuration do I need to change?

Also, to the top right there is a Lockdown Enabled message. I had lockdown on my phone which I have turned off. Still the notification shows up.
