external display on stage manager

Hey so I recently connected my IPad to an external display, I had hoped that in that external display i could change the size of the apps in stage manager to be able to multi-task; unfortunately I was not able to adjust the size of any of my apps (its either full screen, or very tiny). Is there any way to fix this?

What is stopping Apple from adding a “lid closed” feature for iPad that would allow it to run an external display while turning off the main display? External Display for Ipad Pro When using my new ipad pro M2, I am trying to connect my studio display to run extra screen space. When connected, it defaults to a mirror screen of whats on the ipad display. Ive seen pictures and videos of consumers using the external display as an extra monitor, and being able to drag opened windows across into the extended screen space. Am i mistaking? Or doing something wrong?

Need Split-screen feature AND full casting of e.g. Office Apps, File App Content on 16:9 Monitor for IPhone 15 Pro Max Dear Apple folks! Why is it not possible to get a full casting of an Office App window, File App content and other Apps beside photos and videos on an external 16:9 monitor (IPhone 15 Pro Max attached to the external 16:9 monitor)? Bad enough that IPhone 15 Pro Max is not capable to offer any kind of desktop mode. But the current mess in simply mirroring a 19,5:9 IPhone-Screen on an 16:9 external monitor (letter-boxed), feels to dumb and incapable in the year 2023 - especially when looking at other peer companies in the market!! Or what's about a Split-screen feature for the IPhone 15 Pro Max, where 2 apps are displayed on the phone-screen (including drag & drop between those two Apps)? Apple is so incredible bad and poor with regards to "Productivity" features! When will this be resolved (...potentially with an IPhone 16 Pro Max)? Waiting for fast improvements at the Productivity front. And please don't come with points like "Apple has its own product strategy" - this would be simply ridiculous! Other Phone makers are light-years ahead of Apple and the question is: Why? The underlying technic would be close to idling with those demanded Productivity features. Greets Aerni68
