My phone won’t connect to Samsung smart TV

I cant connect my iPhone 11 to my Samsung Smart TV UN5305. It shows up in Settings connected with my Apple ID, and the option to disconnect. The TV does not see my iPhone. I follow the connection instructions but it will not show on the TV. Both are on the same Wi-Fi network. I’m at a loss. Any ideas?
