Forgotten Passcode iPhone 11 iOS 16.0

As you can see, I have managed to forget my passcode. The last two attempts at remembering it have left me with the "Iphone Unavailable - try again in 8 hours" message. In between those two 8 hour wait time attempts I also had one go at just restarting the device, without inputing a wrong passcode and again I had to wait 8 hours!

I couldn't find any reference of a situation like this or about the number of attempts thay I have left until the phone permanently locks itself. How many attemps at the passcode do I have?

If you forgot your passcode, you can use your Apple ID and password to erase and reset your device without a computer.

If you enter the wrong passcode on your iPhone Lock Screen too many times, an alert lets you know that your iPhone is disabled. (Learn what to do if you see "[Device] unavailable" or "Security Lockout" on your iPhone or iPad.)
