Issue syncing notes only (and only one direction)

Recently, the notes on my iphone aren't syncing to my mac, but it works the other way. Meaning, any changes made to the notes on my computer will update on my phone, but any changes made on the notes app on my phone do not appear on my computer.

I tested other apps (i.e., calendar) and syncing goes both directions.

I've tried all the usual fixes (signing in and out of Apple ID, making sure notes aren't just stored on iphone, rebooting, etc.) many times. Any help?!

iPhone SE, iOS 13

Hello e_m_r_,

Since this behavior is specific to your iPhone we'd recommend reviewing your iCloud setup as outlined below.

"Set up Notes with iCloud

You can use iCloud to update your notes across all of your devices. To set up Notes with iCloud, go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud, then turn on Notes. You’ll see your notes on all of your Apple devices that you’re signed in to with the same Apple ID."

This information, and some additional steps you can take, can be found here: Use Notes on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support

Regards.
