Missing icon
I’m trying to eject my Time Machine properly. How do I get the Time Machine to appear on my screen when I have finished the backup?? I can’t drop it down to trash because it’s missing from my screen.

Click Finder > Preferences.
In the General tab, make sure that External disks is check marked.
The drive should now appear on the desktop any time you connect it to your Mac.
