I wonder if it is possible to add subsubtasks in Reminders. What I have in mind is something like this:
Book project <-- This is the list name
MacBook Pro

It appears that sub-sub tasks might be a thing of the past. Obviously it works in applications like Pages (Word), but as for the Reminders app, it doesn't seem to be possible anymore.
I just tried it myself on both an iPhone and my MacMini.

A possible work-around might be to, instead of creating ONE list of all tasks and sub-tasks, create multiple lists of main tasks and subtasks. Yes, it's not as pretty or streamlined, but in a way, it could help declutter the list itself (and the mind).

I think I’ve figured it out!!
It’s possible that we both remember using sub-sub tasks in…NOTES!!
And items can be sorted by completion, when checked!

Thanks. There is a logic to what may seem to be clutter with nested lists as they indicate how I want to work on stuff. I am trying to move from OmniFocus for easier syncing, etc but the absence of this one and the lack of differentiation between sequential and parallel project tasks make it difficult.
Totally understandable! There are definitely tasks and notes that are simpler to digest in my head when they are all together, instead of manually switching my focus to an entirely different page.
