Emails don't complete download or only partially show?

If you have an issue first I would turn off/dsiable the following

Open mail app select Mail>Settings>Privacy disable:

“Protect Mail Activity”

“Hide IP address”

“Block all remote content”

compare your results and report back.

for sync issues sign out of iCloud on the Mac and back in again.
