2018 iMac running Monterey has had a triangle in the upper portion of the home drive icon. It may have been there before the Monterey install months ago. Can anyone explain what this is for? You can't click on it, disk utility reports nothing wrong, but it is one of those triangles that can mean something is amiss.

Where are you seeing this icon? Is this a screenshot on your Desktop? What type for drive do you have as a boot drive: fusion or SSD? This is the image for a rotation HDD which would be an indication of a Fusion drive. Post a screenshot of what you're seeing. Haven't noticed that previously and this is the first question in the forums about that.
There is no 2018 iMac. There's a 2017 and 2019 model but no 2018. Check About This Mac to verify what model it is.
Thanks for the quick reply. Yes, it's a 2019 model, sorry for the keyboarding. I will attach an image of the icon. The text in the window is so small I cannot make it out. (I did look around for other questions about this and saw none, as well.).
Thanks again for the reply. Yes, this is an icon on the desktop, the only drive in the box. I thought it was a fusion drive, but in reading the linked info file you sent (thanks for that), this is not a split drive in any event. (I must correct the date of this iMac, in looking at the specs, it is a 2017 model, bought late 2018, put in service early 2019). Thanks for your assistance.
That looks like a generic icon... That warning triangle is simply a facsimile manufacturing sticker.
