No sound with incoming text message
I have an iPhone 12 and iPad Air that were both updated today with OS 16.3 versions. Prior to that I would hear the sound for incoming text messages; however, out of the blue last week the iPhone stopped notifying me with sound for text messages (my iPad still was sending sound at that point). I updated to 16.3 for both thinking that would fix the problem but it didn’t. In fact now the iPad Air doesn’t make a sound for text messages (it will every so many texts). I’ve researched and tried all of the typical 15+ fixes but neither is working properly. Any solutions to this problem would be appreciated. Note: I hear the phone sound on both, but not the text message sound.
