Scanned documents not showing in notes

Scanned documents not showing in notes. Apple closed the last conversation on this topic so starting new thread.

I recently had this issue and fixed this morning. A Scanned note did not appear across all devices (MacOS, IPads, Iphones) even after taking multiple scans AND pressing Saving/Done, using an iPad and iPhone . Today, I was changing settings on Shared Note using an iPhone by tapping circle ellipsis at top of the shared note. I chose Manage Shared Note, Selected Highlight All Changes and then exited out of that section. Scanned note did not appear.

I then added a Task entry line. It was not until I added a Task/Check Circle item in the Note that the scanned note and the Task Item appeared across all devices.

So, do not know if changing Highlight All Changes OR adding the Task Item OR BOTH changes are needed to make scanned items visible, but something of these is what worked for me.
