Airpods Pro 2 - Can't see battery level of the case

Hi,

I'm using a Macbook but realize this happens with the iPhone too. I could not see the battery level and did what was suggested here: My airpod case battery doesn’t show up in… - Apple Community

which is basically resetting the Airpods. It worked momentarily but soon returned to the previous state of not showing the case battery level.

Is there a way to fix this?

Thanks!

Hi there pmfelix,

We'd like to help, but we'll need more details to better understand what's happening, and let's rule out some possible causes:

  1. Where exactly isn't it showing your AirPods case battery level? For example: when you hold the case open next to your iPhone, when swiping the screen to the left, etc.
  2. Sometimes unexpected behavior can be resolved with a restart: Restart your iPhone
  3. If you have a compatible iPhone model, the latest version is iOS 16.3. You can verify this within Settings > General > About. In case you needed it, this link shows how to first back up, then Update your iPhone or iPad.
  4. You mentioned that you tried resetting them, but it had no effect. Does the same issue occur if you test pairing your AirPods with a different device?

Cheers!
